Current developments in the use of smart materials for solar shading: prototypes vs products

The aim of this research was to give an overview of projects, prototypes and products of solar shading devices integrating smart materials for advanced façade design. This research project was funded under the School of Architecture and Planning of the University of Auckland PBRF Fund in 2018.
